DescriptionGlyceryl monocaprate has inhibitory effect on Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). It also offers an effective treatment for herpes labialiss. Glyceryl monocaprate is a capric acid against 1-monoglyceride gram-positive bacterial infections.(In Vitro):Glyceryl monocaprate has antimicrobial activity against gram-positive ATCC SA 29123.(In Vivo):Glycerol monocaprate in combination with low-dose doxycycline is effective in treating cold sores. It significantly reduces time to healing and pain compared to placebo and monocaprin alone .

Reference
-
6-FABA
6-FABA (6-Fluoroanthranilic Acid) is a small-molecule inhibitor of MTB tryptophan synthesis that converts Mtb into a tryptophan auxotroph and restores the efficacy of a failed host defense.
-
Genz 669178
A potent PfDHODH inhibitor that exhibits low nanomolar in vitro potency against DHODH from P falciparum, P vivax, and P berghei.
-
Chebulinic acid
Chebulinic acid is a potent inhibitor of M. tuberculosis DNA gyrase. It also can inhibit SMAD-3 phosphorylation and H+ K+-ATPase activity.Chebulinic acid obviously inhibited HQ/Cu(II)- and H(2)O(2)/Cu(II)-mediated pBR322 DNA strand breaks. When MRC-5 cells were treated with HQ/Cu(II), the presence of Chebulinic acid inhibited HQ/Cu(II)-mediated double-strand breaks of genomic DNA.
